I came across this app that helps people visualize what it would be like to be in a commercial airplane crash. It would be interesting to see someone create this for private aircraft as well.

Have not been doing much interesting flying lately but have been at least staying current. I'm in the market for a new ADS-B device and in looking around saw these new "augmented reality" glasses concept for pilots from Aero Glass (no word on when the actual product will be released). Looks very cool, perhaps a bit too much "augmentation" but I would Craig Gomulkahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07175887440204871634noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8323029913678841523.post-81272533600579863822014-08-08T08:00:00.000-07:002014-08-08T08:00:00.802-07:00FltPlan Go app now iPhone compatible as well
As some readers may know, I am a fan of using Fltplan.com and Fltplan's iPad application for flight planning and in-flight navigation. Fltplan has just released their new iPhone capable companion app. As with the iPad app, the iPhone app is free and does not require a subscription. As a bonus, I have found that flight planning with fltplan.com is extremely efficient with a no-nonsense user Craig Gomulkahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07175887440204871634noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8323029913678841523.post-52985971488012831462014-07-14T18:22:00.005-07:002014-07-14T18:22:58.856-07:00Amelia Earhart becomes first woman to circumnavigate the globe by planeNot that Amelia Earhart, this one. It's great for general aviation to have people in media like Paul who understand and expose the value GA brings to business owners and operators.
