Fly the Su-27 for 10 hours and you could buy a 172 with the gas money. But then again, if you're buying an Su-27, it is likely you are probably not too concerned about your financial situation...

787 first flight - congratulations to Boeing!

Congratulations are in order to Boeing for getting the new 787 off of the ground. Looking forward to flying in one someday!

Coincidentally, a day before the Wright Bros. first flight anniversary. Must be something about the month of December...

I can't let the anniversary of Chuck Yeager breaking the sound barrier in the Bell X-1 slip by with out giving a shout-out. Thank you for your bravery Chuck.

On a side note, General Yeager is still flying and appears to enjoy performing supersonic flybys at airshows. He will make an appearance this Saturday at Edwards Air Force Base.
