This beautiful airplane was produced in California, Burbank to be exact. As now an old timer I consider the DC 3 the most trustworthy airplane in the air.

Correction...Built in Long Beach

During WW11, the entire long Beach Douglas plant was disguised with a fake residential town cover. As a kid during this period, Southern California was aircraft Heaven....During the Korean War flew as a passenger in this Icon....Many times...

Does this kind of aircraft also have a bomber model? or was this the one that have been used to drop the nuke in Hiroshima?
